We aim to set up as a social enterprise with a social mission, which is to rejuvenate the accounting profession in Hong Kong, revamp and reshape its eco system, and provide upward mobility and career rotation opportunities of choice to CPAs and students through professional development, learning and enlightenment offered in their interest.
Profile
Dr. Kan Hee Anthony TYEN
Dr Tyen has been in the accountancy and consulting profession since 1977.
Academically, Dr Tyen holds a Ph.D. and MBA degree with the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Professionally, Dr Tyen is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, Global Council member between 2005-2014), and associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a non-practicing member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA, Council member between 1996-2004).
Apart from his own firm, his professional career footprint includes PriceWaterhouse (now PwC), KMG (now KPMG), The Morgan Bank (now JPMorganChase), Grant Thornton and the Tricor Group.
On the commercial side, Dr Tyen served on the boards of companies listed in Hong Kong, Canada, NASDAQ and New York in the U.S.
Mr. Andy Chan
Mr. Andy Chan is an entrepreneur, intrapreneur, and investor with expertise in ESG business transformation, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He is a Partner at Flair Capital, Director and Investor at Union Services & Registrars, and Co-Founder of THINK ESG.
Andy is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors (FHKIoD) and has contributed as a member of the Corporate Governance Policies Committee. He holds several professional ESG certifications, including the Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute, Certified ESG Planner (CEP®) from the International Chamber of Sustainable Development (ICSD), and EFFAS Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA®).
Previously, Andy was a Co-opted Member of the Sub-committee on Youth and Capacity Building under the Council for Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Development (HKSAR).
Mr. Francis Yuek To YAU
Mr. Yau has been in field of commercial, assurance and accountancy profession for since (1978).
During those years, Mr. Yau has accumulated a wide range of experience, including the role of Chief Financial Officer, Group Financial Controller and Company Secretary with various multinational corporations. He is now the proprietor of his own firm.
Professionally, Mr. Yau is a Certified Public Accountant (Practising), a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. and an associate member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
Academically, Mr. Yau holds an MBA degree with University of Warwick of the United Kingdom.
Mr. Tin Ying TANG
Mr. Tang began his career accountancy, auditing and consultancy in the year (1980).
His own practice, incepted in 1990, provides both local and multinational companies with a wide variety of professional services, including audit, financial due diligence and management consultancy on various business matters.
Mr. Tang's practice also operates a company under the Trust or Company Service Provider License for the provision of trust and company secretarial services.
Mr. Tang is a Certified Public Accountants (Practising), being a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
